Upon return from vacation last week, I was prepared to post a single recap covering the vacation and another to cover the wedding weekend. Yea, that didn’t last long when I flipped through my images! This shutterbug went snap happy.
I was most excited for the day in Boulder to meet my friend Colie James who is a storytelling photographer in the area. I’ve gotten to know her over the last few months via Light Inspired which is a wonderful photography community! I always love meeting my online friends in real life, so I made sure to plan time with Colie.
Colie brought her super sweet daughter, Chloe, along and we grabbed brunch at Snooz on Pearl Street first. It was DELICIOUS. If you’re in Boulder at any point, make Snooz a brunch stop. I had the OMG! French Toast and let’s be obvious and just say they were OMG amazing!
Then we stopped by OZO Coffee and I nearly lost Chloe when she bolted out the front door and started running towards the car as we were heading out! That was terrifying but we still had a great time chatting and catching up.
The plan was to meet my sisters and Abby, Liz’s friend and a fellow bridesmaid, over at the creek, but it started to rain a touch so we went to shop on Pearl Street instead. Luckily this worked out to more time with Colie & Chloe so we were able to snap a few pictures of the day. I also spent WAY too much money in too short a time and lost one of my earrings trying on too many things. Nonetheless, it was a great day!
Here are some photos and iPhone snaps of the afternoon. Stay tuned tomorrow for Tuesday’s adventures in Evergreen, CO at Creekside Cellars!
Thanks for the next shot, Colie! Always good to have a pro photographer around.
Happy hour dinner at Hapa Sushi on Pearl Street.
This one’s for you, Abby!
Gorgeous Colorado sunset on the way back from Boulder. Absolutely perfect!
