Boy Behind the Blog: October {100th Post!}

It’s only fitting that my 100th post be all about Husband! I certainly wouldn’t be a mama to my two darling fur-babies nor working my butt off to save money and reach the goals we’ve set without him. This blog would definitely not exist without him either.

Today we’re a little late on Boys Behind the Blog. I find it a little funny that in this month’s responses, he’s obviously WAY more busy this week. If you’ve been a series regular the last few months, you know Hubby goes on and on with his responses. You probably also know that he’s currently waiting for his job to begin and thus his long responses are a product of lots of time to think. Hehe!

This month, however, we’re in Grand Rapids for the week so he can work at his dad’s steel fabricating shop. He’s been waking up every morning at 5:30am EST and out the door by 6:30am. Last night before bed my last thought was “crap, he hasn’t sent me his answers for the blog tomorrow!” I sent him a text and he sent me his answers before leaving this morning.

So, what’s the Husband gotta say this month?!

Describe yourself in 5 words.

Easygoing, Persistent, Honest, Empathetic, and Patient.

What is your biggest fear?

Well, I’m not a fan of the typical things like Spiders or Heights. I think Snakes are just evil animals…..but what I really fear right now is something really bad happening to one of my dogs.

What is your favorite candy?

Cadbury Cream Egg

What was the best Halloween costume you’ve ever worn?

I think it has to be when I was really young and dressed up as Cookie Monster from Sesame Street. I think there is a picture in some old photo album, but I’m not sure anymore.

Who is your favorite football team?

Michigan Wolverines.

Straight, and to the point! I wish I could find that Cookie Monster Halloween costume photo in his parent’s albums today, but they have quite a few albums to look at…it could be awhile. We’ll stick with a pretty standard Throwback Thursday shot courtesy of Olan Mills.

productivity for working moms

welcome!

I'm Jessica!

I used to glorify "busy." If I wasn't busy, I wasn't doing enough. But when I became a mama, my entire outlook shifted.

The only way out involved a complete overhaul of my time, money & communication systems.

Today, I'm doing LESS and achieving more.

It's a productivity dream!

I'm still learning (and always will be!), but my purpose here is to help YOU achieve this level of space in your life too.
