I hope your tummy is full of turkey and pumpkin pie. I hope you watch as much football as you can handle. Most importantly, I hope you find yourself abundantly thankful.
Since my ‘Debbie downer’ post a few weeks ago, I’ve gained much to be thankful for in life. It’s kind of crazy how it worked out. I put my heart out there for all the world to see and within a few weeks my life changed for the better. Here are a few things that I am currently thankful for:
> Hubby being assigned a new AF recruiter (FINALLY). He’s been working with his prior one since May and things were, obviously, not moving forward in any way. I’m thankful for hopeful quick progress now. I’m also insanely proud of him for being so persistent (if I were his former recruiter I’d have handed him off to someone else LONG ago – lol) and optimistic through the whole process.
> Finally deciding on what to offer first in my Etsy shop (I’ve toyed with lots and lots of ideas over the years) and being completely and utterly thrilled with it. I feel such a sense of accomplishment, no matter how many (or little) sales I make! I already have many other items in the works that will be added over time too.
> Having the patience to wait to upgrade my Quickbooks software until this week, as the price for the 2014 version was $100 off at Staples AND I got 20% off that. Score!
> Having my whole immediate family and our grandparents under one roof this week. Kind of crazy to think 9 people + 3 dogs are living in this house right now…but it’s been really fun.
> Earning the week off from my day job this week. I’ve been monitoring my emails and checking in on a few open items, but nothing major as I planned ahead well for this much needed week off.
I have so much more to list, but I’ve hit the high points for today. Now it’s off to begin the day of food, football & family.
Have a beautiful Thanksgiving!
