Boys Behind the Blog: December

On Monday this week, I sat down to plan the rest of my blog posts for the year. I hopped over to my trusty blog calendar and low and behold, found “Boys Behind the Blog” tagged for just THREE days away! EEK!

Can anyone tell me how the third Thursday of December is already here? No? That’s what I thought.

Well, let’s get to the good stuff…December’s edition of Boys Behind the Blog!

What is your favorite cereal?

Easy…Captain Crunch Peanut Butter Crunch. Literally, the most amazing cereal ever.

Pancakes or waffles?

Pancakes. Put blueberries in them and top it off with maple syrup. Pancakes are also way more versatile and can be made anywhere, camping trip to backyard fire.

What is your favorite holiday tradition?

I don’t know if I really have one any more. I grew up in Michigan with hills to sled on, I spent two Christmases in Iraq, and now am out in Chicagoland. Hot spiced apple cider is great and Egg Nog is AMAZING. Seeing family is always great!

Finish the sentence: All I want for Christmas is…

a cool board game or two. Board games are so much simpler and more enjoyable than competitive digital media entertainment. I’m also not talking about Life or Monopoly……those games just don’t compare anymore. Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, The Resistance, Pandemic, Power Grid, or even Game of Thrones the Board Game are among the countless other games that can make a night in with friends and family very memorable.

What was your best moment of 2013?

The big highlight of the year has been getting Trudy. My highlight was picking up my wife and 8 week old Trudy at the airport and then having a tired wife drive us all home while I got to meet the new little puppy.

productivity for working moms

welcome!

I'm Jessica!

I used to glorify "busy." If I wasn't busy, I wasn't doing enough. But when I became a mama, my entire outlook shifted.

The only way out involved a complete overhaul of my time, money & communication systems.

Today, I'm doing LESS and achieving more.

It's a productivity dream!

I'm still learning (and always will be!), but my purpose here is to help YOU achieve this level of space in your life too.
