Wisconsin is celebrating this weekend thanks to our beloved Badgers making it to the FINAL FOUR!! I couldn’t be more proud. On Wisconsin!
I’m also pretty excited because today is my 29th birthday! I’m actually thrilled to be turning 30 in just one year so today is a great, great day. I’ll be sharing an update on my 30 Before 30 goals later this afternoon, so make sure to check back.
Last Week’s Wishes
Take a mini spring break.
This weekend’s mini spring break isn’t over yet, but it’s been a blast. I’ve knocked so much off my to do list (and then some) and relaxed a bit too. I think I’ll be ready to get back to work until my next vacation the whole week of Memorial Day. I’m excited for that full week off! Now, onto the individual goals…
My relaxing day was Sunday and I spent the majority of it working on my March block of the Once Upon a Time Sampler. I finished most of it but will tie it off today so I can start April’s block right away after it’s released tonight! I can’t believe 3 months of the year have already flown by…crazy!
We filled 5 small bins with books, movies, music, and magazines we’re planning to keep, but also filled two small boxes of items to get rid of in our garage sale. We also downsized our DVD collection from 125 cases that weighed probably 25 pounds to a 3-ring binder with CD sleeves that weighs less than 3 pounds. Stay tuned…I’m planning to share this on the blog later this week!
My April Directive started with the creation of our meal plan binder and setting this week’s meal plan. We’re obviously ahead of the curb since April hasn’t even started yet!
So, overall a great success!
Set April’s budget + payoff the Toyota!
The check went in the mail on Saturday to payoff the Toyota and April’s budget is locked & loaded. This goal is a success and it feels damn good!
This Week’s Wishes
Spend time at the gym.
Each day, Monday thru Friday, I’ll spend at least 30 minutes at the gym. With a 15 minute walk back and forth, that’s 45 minutes each day this week. Every time I actually go to the gym I feel great. I really want to get back into a good routine so we’ll start small this week. Between meal planning, healthy eating, and a better gym routine, I’ll reach my weight goals in no time!
