14 Weeks // Baby E

First thing’s first, HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY to all of my friends and family across the USA (and those living abroad while celebrating too)! I have strawberry cupcakes and mini blueberry cheesecakes to make this morning for the neighborhood cul-de-sac gathering after this (6 days late) bump tracker post. The Seattle weather is perfectly perfect (90s and sunny) and I’m ready for a fun holiday weekend.

How far along? 14 weeks

Total weight gain: 4 lbs (give or take)

Maternity clothes? While I wore my skinnies all week, my sister brought us to the mall in Denver and I couldn’t help but try on some maternity shorts and jeans. Needless to say, I bought a couple pairs because they are so comfortable! I was resisting maternity wear, but no more – I’d be missing out!

Stretch marks? Nope – still early. Fingers crossed they don’t come!

Sleep: Sleeping soundly and counting my lucky stars.

Best moment this week: Meeting my 6 week old baby nephew, Lio! He’s absolutely precious and definitely lives too far away (Denver).

Miss Anything? Visiting the gym. I’ve been so tired and busy with work lately that there hasn’t been any chance of getting there. Hoping to turn a corner and get back there soon!

Movement: Nothing felt, only seen on the ultrasounds.

Food cravings: The caramel/ice cream craving sort of went away. I still enjoy it, but don’t want it every day now. I’d have to say there are no cravings at the moment, but I’m definitely eating more sweets than usual.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not at the moment – smooth sailing for the most part. Lucky me!

Gender: Starting to question whether my intuition of girl is right or not. I can’t handle the suspense!

Labor Signs: No.

Symptoms: Still just tired with a few headaches here or there.

Belly Button in or out? Still in with belly button ring in tact…for now. Sister said she took hers out around 15 weeks. I’ll probably end up doing the same to start getting used to it sooner rather than later.

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Moody-ish, mostly due to being tired and overworked.

Looking forward to: 4th of July holiday weekend (which is NOW based on when I’m posting week 14-haha)!

productivity for working moms

welcome!

I'm Jessica!

I used to glorify "busy." If I wasn't busy, I wasn't doing enough. But when I became a mama, my entire outlook shifted.

The only way out involved a complete overhaul of my time, money & communication systems.

Today, I'm doing LESS and achieving more.

It's a productivity dream!

I'm still learning (and always will be!), but my purpose here is to help YOU achieve this level of space in your life too.
