17 + 18 Weeks // Baby E

I sure did slack the last two weeks, but I have an excuse. The weekend of “17” was my big office/upstairs hall/nursery painting weekend (did you see on Instagram?!) and I removed everything from my office, including my computer. Yes, it took me 10 days to set it back up! As not much seems to be changing week to week, I will likely continue to take weekly photos, but post them together in twos.

Either way, how is it POSSIBLE that I am already 18 weeks along? Time is flying…

How far along? 18 weeks

Total weight gain: 8-9 lbs

Maternity clothes? Nothing new lately but trying to go through clothes I still have packed in boxes from our move to see if I can re-purpose anything. I love my maternity pants more and more each day – especially the shorts!

Stretch marks? Nope! Not much stretching yet, so I’m sure this doesn’t say much about my ability to keep them away.

Sleep: I purchased a super comfy Bump Nest pillow within the last two weeks and while I love it, the dachshunds love it even more. I can’t even tell you how much use they’ve gotten out of it so far…I may have to buy another one just so both can have a turn!

Best moment this week: Having my mama in town this past weekend! It was so fun spending time with her in our new home. She came out for Christmas but we were still living in the apartment so it was awesome having a place of our own to have her stay. We also went baby shopping together which was a lot of fun. Second best moment was purchasing the baby’s crib and dresser/changing table!

Miss Anything? Still nothing. All outlook is ahead!

Movement: YES. I can say with certainty now that I’ve been feeling her since about 15 weeks (very faint) with progressively stronger movements. Now, at 18 weeks, I know she’ll wiggle around in the late afternoon and evening. Her kicks are so sweet – not too painful at this point so hopefully she’s just a sweet, caring little girl and she won’t kick her mama too hard. haha!

Food cravings: The sweets war continues.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Depending on where baby girl is kicking, I sometimes get a little queasy. Otherwise, nothing.

Gender: Sweet baby girl!

Labor Signs: No…too early!

Symptoms: Nothing really to note. I’ve been so lucky this pregnancy!

Belly Button in or out? Still in…definitely morphing.

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!

Looking forward to: Portland this weekend to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary AND Trudy’s 2nd birthday on 8/2!

productivity for working moms

welcome!

I'm Jessica!

I used to glorify "busy." If I wasn't busy, I wasn't doing enough. But when I became a mama, my entire outlook shifted.

The only way out involved a complete overhaul of my time, money & communication systems.

Today, I'm doing LESS and achieving more.

It's a productivity dream!

I'm still learning (and always will be!), but my purpose here is to help YOU achieve this level of space in your life too.
